These carbon steel tubes, also known as mild steel pipes and tubes, are manufactured according to EN specifications with low carbon content (max 0.17%) combined with manganese, making them easy to form and shape.

Straightness of Standard Precision Tubes

Straightness of the tubes is influenced by the mechanical properties. For material with yield point ReH ≤ 500 MPa, straightness is 0.0015 multiple of tube length maximum (1.5 mm per meter). For material with yield point ReH > 500 MPa, allowable straightness is 0.0020 multiple of tube length (2 mm per meter).
