The E215 steel grade (1.0033) provides a balanced combination of mechanical properties suitable for non-critical structural and mechanical applications. With a minimum yield strength of 215 MPa and tensile strength ranging from 270 to 410 MPa, this tubing delivers adequate strength for light to medium load requirements. The low carbon content (max 0.11%) is significantly lower than E235 and E355 grades, resulting in superior ductility and formability. The tightly controlled chemical composition—manganese max 0.70%, phosphorus and sulfur each limited to 0.025%—ensures consistent welding performance and excellent cold forming characteristics.

Process

The cold drawing process refines the grain structure and improves concentricity, resulting in a tube that performs reliably in various mechanical applications.
